I started the AK Law Firm because I was tired of seeing how most law firms treat their clients. Most people know a friend or family member who hired an attorney who never called them, never provided them case updates, took most of the money from the settlement, or many other things that put the law firm’s interests before the client. I started the AK Law Firm because I know it doesn’t have to be this way. I have created a new approach to personal injury law that puts the clients interests first and I have found that this process obtains the best results.

I originally went to school to study medicine. I wanted to be a doctor because I wanted to help people. While I realized that becoming a doctor wasn’t for me, my desire to help people never changed.

Clients are often surprised how much their lives can be changed by an injury. It can actually be one of the most challenging moments in your life. You are in pain, you might be missing work, which means you cannot make rent and it can make you feel hopeless. I started the AK Law Firm to help people in this time of need. During this time, you need to be taken care of by a team that cares about you, and doesn’t just care about the money your case can make them.

My name is Jeimmy Galindo. I grew up in Los Angeles, California and now I’m based out of Houston, Texas. I am happily married and have a beautiful baby girl. I’ve been doing personal injury law since 2009. I initially started as a paralegal but eventually made my way to the marketing side of law after seeing the dire need for my expertise. I believe injured clients deserve the best representation from case management to a great settlement. I’ve personally managed thousands of cases and have helped obtained millions of dollars for injured clients and I hope to help many more.

Robert Shoemake is a proud native of the state of Texas. He obtained skills in customer service, professionalism, and time management while working in the hospitality industry. His experience includes being a corporate trainer for new store openings, head bartender at fine dining establishments, and store manager. In 2019, Robert entered the personal injury legal field starting as an entry level intake specialist. He has experience as an investigator, case manager, demands writer, and as a member of the leadership team. Robert loves to travel, enjoys sports, motorsports, and outdoor activities.

Jason is a native Houstonian with over twelve years of experience as a litigation paralegal in the areas of personal injury, toxic exposure, sexual assault, products liability, patent infringement, and mass torts with client counts ranging from 100 to 10,000. Currently a student at C.T. Bauer College of Business at University of Houston, Jason aspires to establish a long-term career in business process development and implementation.

Growing up in the desert town of Phoenix, AZ, Jeremy is the oldest of his family, having been raised by a single mother alongside his younger sister and brother. After serving eight years in the U.S. Army and working towards a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Jeremy’s discipline, integrity, and desire to help people brought him to the world of personal injury. With nearly a decade of experience, Jeremy is a vital department lead, renowned for his distinctive client-first approach, encyclopedic knowledge and ‘never-give-up’ attitude.

Despite his initial interest in the medical field, Jeremy found his true calling in Personal Injury Law. Upon his entry to the field, Jeremy found that empowering clients with the knowledge of personal injury, ensuring justice for his clients and working with attorneys on cases brought immense joy and satisfaction to him, and he has since never looked back!

To Jeremy, a “Client First” approach means actively listening to the Client, empathizing with their situation and supporting the Client through the most challenging times. Celebrating a client’s victory is Jeremy’s greatest reward. Overall, Jeremy is blessed to work at AK Law, where the atmosphere is welcoming, family-oriented and fun. When Jeremy isn’t working, he engages in his newly found passion for gardening, which brings him relaxation and joy. Jeremy also enjoys playing video games and exploring new eateries, both of which he experiences with his wife Brittany.

Samantha Mendez is a proud Houston native. She has been in the personal injury industry for 7 years. With her extensive background in marketing, she is able to give our clients the experience they deserve from start to finish. She also is a huge advocate for mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Hoping it will help others, Samantha shares her testimony with suicide unapologetically. When she is not at work, she enjoys her time painting, working out and spending time with her family.
